What we liked
- + Covers the essentials: rounds in 5/0, 3/0, 0, 2 and 4 plus one angle brush for edges
- + Triangular wooden handles are easy to hold steady for small detail work
- + Very low price, so the brushes can be treated as disposable for harsh paints and washes
Trade-offs
- - Only six brushes, with no liners or flats for long fine lines and broad coats
- - Little-known brand, so bristle quality may vary between sets
