What we liked
- + Listing describes 5 layers of PVC that close up cuts to keep the surface flat.
- + Grid on both sides in a 12 x 18 inch (A3) size, a workable size for kit parts.
- + Two colors, black and taupe, so you can pick the side that shows small parts best.
Trade-offs
- - Marketed across sewing, quilting and crafts, not made specifically for model building.
- - Listing does not mention a non-slip back, so it may shift on a smooth bench.
