What we liked
- + Large 1:60 display model: 28.4 inches long, 18.9 inches tall and 9 inches wide when fully assembled
- + Wood and die-cast metal construction with rigging, sails, ladders, cannons and deck elements
- + Rated medium difficulty, a realistic step up for builders who have finished a beginner wooden kit
Trade-offs
- - Model only: paint is not included, and the listing does not mention tools or glue either
- - Average build time is listed at 480 hours and the price is high, a serious commitment for a second kit
