What we liked
- + Complete launch set: the listing says it includes the launch pad system, so it is a ready starting point for a first rocket.
- + Listing gives about 10 minutes of preparation time, which suits a first build.
- + Estes is an established rocket brand and the listing points to the NAR model rocket safety code.
Trade-offs
- - Rocket motors are not mentioned in the bullets we have, so check the full listing before ordering.
- - At about 17 inches and a 3-fin design it is a simple beginner model, not a detailed scale kit.
